Free, Asynchronous Professional Development for English Learner Education
Audience: Educators of English Learners/Multilingual Learners
WIDA’s Core Learning Collection offers free, on-demand research-based professional development to strengthen instruction for multilingual learners. This high-quality, asynchronous professional learning is designed for Alaska public school educators, including teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrators. The Core Learning Collection provides self-paced courses and on-demand videos which focus on effective instruction and support for English learner and multilingual students. Educators can learn to strengthen classroom practices and better meet the needs of multilingual learners on their own schedules. The professional learning in the collection is perfect for individual professional development or a collaborative learning environment with colleagues.
