Supporting school districts to meet the nine Pre-Elementary Program Goals in order to provide an excellent education to every preschool-aged student, every day.
DEED provides support to the early care and education community that serves children ages 3-5 years in school district and Head Start programs. All programs align with Alaska's Early Learning Guidelines (ELGs) created by professionals and parents in the early childhood care and education field.
